How much do people think about others and themselves in lives? CBT gained chances to think about other people and ourselves through ¡®As We Are the Buddha¡¯ and ¡®Meditation of Affirmation.¡¯¡®As We Are the Buddha¡¯ gave us time to praise the people around us and to hope others¡¯ works go well. Giving and receiving the praise made me shameful because I was stingy at praising other people usually. However, as bowing three times, hoping others go well will be needed for modern people who consider themselves very important.
¡®Meditation of Affirmation¡¯ offered us chances to understand people around us. This time is important and needed for busy modern people who don¡¯t seem to have enough time to think of themselves. Moreover, I noticed that merits can be changed to demerits, and demerits can be changed to merits according to people¡¯s thoughts.
It was just an easy and simple meditation. However, it was an important time that made me think of myself and other people again. I thought this short time was really needed for modern people.
