After the long winter passed, a new semester begins for the freshmen. However, it is difficult for the freshman to learn information about campus. Therefore, CBT will introduce about the CBNU homepage, which helps students find useful information.

  While students are on campus, they sometimes use the CBNU homepage. They use it to register for lectures, to check the campus map and to confirm many things, like dormitory rooms. However, except for these circumstances, they hardly use the CBNU homepage because of a lack of knowledge about how to use it. Therefore, let’s learn about the CBNU homepage! 
  There are 4 main pages which are useful but not well-known. The Notification page can easily be located on the CBNU homepage. The Notification page is the most important page of the 4 main pages because this page provides much information about CBNU. This page is separated into 3 sections, which are notices, degrees & scholarships and ceremonies & seminars. A lot of information can be found and utilized by just checking these sections regularly. Moreover, international activities and job ads also are posted on this page. Accordingly, it is important to check those regularly.

  The Headquarters of Employment Strategy & Support page can be found in the Enrolled Student Menu, which is located in the middle of the CBNU homepage. Before finding a job, it is difficult to get information about jobs, so contacting a senior is usually required. However, it is not easy because seniors are very busy. In this case, this page can be helpful. It gives information about getting a job. Typically, consulting with a job expert is the most popular choice. Moreover, news about jobs and job classes are provided, so this page is very useful for finding a job.

  The Library page can be found the same way as the Headquarters of Employment Strategy & Support page. The CBNU library has many books, and students often read and borrow books from there. This page provides details about using the library. Students can search for books on this page and find the location of the books. Moreover, it is possible to reserve the seminar rooms and the presentation rooms on this page. There are not many places to practice presentations or seminars, so it could be very useful.

  The Office of Creative and Convergent Education page can also be found the same way as the previous two pages. Unlike general activities, this page introduces creative activities. It shows many creative activities like reading discussions, education discussions and volunteer activities with the disadvantaged. Moreover, various contests are also displayed on this page. If they win a prize in a contest, they can win a lot of cash!

  The 4 main pages of the CBNU website have now been introduced. Just by checking these pages, useful information can be found. However, a lot of the information is used by only a few students. Why does this happen? Park Jae hyuk(15, Dept. of Telecommunication of Engineering) said, “Most of the students don’t know how to use the homepage because no one introduced these pages and there wasn’t a chance to use the pages. Therefore, only a few students know about the useful information. If my friends had not instructed me about these pages, I also wouldn’t be using these pages.”
