Á¦ 125 È£    ¹ßÇàÀÏ : 2011.05.30

Terrorism has been raging since the death of Osama Bin Laden. After Osama was killed by the CIA on May 2nd, large and small terrorist acts have occurred successively in Pakistan and Afghanistan. In Charsadda, Pakistan, 80 people were killed and 100 people were injured by a suicide bombing on the 13th. The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan(TTP) spokesman warned, ¡°It is revenge for the martyrdom of Osama. Wait for stronger attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan.¡±
Terrorism which targeted American people also occurred. In Peshawar in northwest Pakistan, which is on the border of Afghanistan, two U.S. Consulate vehicles were destroyed by bombs. In this incident, 2 passers-by were killed and 12 people were wounded. According to the AP, the TTP spokesman said, ¡°All diplomats from countries of NATO members are our targets.¡±
The fear about terrorism is spreading with the 10th anniversary of 9?11 this year. The New York Times said on the 14th, ¡°A few terrorists are likely to attack on the 10th anniversary of 9?11. Therefore, major cities¡¯ authorities are preparing measures.¡± The headquarters of the national police, which are not only in big cities in the U.S. but also small and medium-sized cities, are tightening their protection against terrorism. The national defense is at its strongest since 9?11. The number of police officers was reinforced and they were stationed in government organizations as well as airports, subway stations and ports.
The U. S. president Barack Obama said in an interview with WLTV, which is a Spanish-speaking broadcast in Miami, ¡°We have to tighten our protection because Al-Qaeda is trying to take revenge after the death of Bin Laden. We always keep an eye on all situations.¡±
In the first official statement after the death of Bin Laden, the Taliban spokesman said, ¡°The death of Osama Bin Laden has stimulated warriors who are fighting against the foreign invaders in Afghanistan.¡±
Also, the Taliban spokesman said in a telephone interview with the AP, ¡°We said that we will take revenge for the martyrdom of Osama. We will continue to attack.¡± The danger of terrorism due to the death of Osama Bin Laden is expected to extend over a long time.
