During the work week at the newspaper office, I usually go back home late. As I walk the campus of CBNU late night, students who play at the Sol-pond, next to the Central Library, are easily found. I thought that it is because the CBNU campus is beautiful enough to be compared with the campus of any other university. Moreover, the campus becomes more beautiful than before on these days. It is because spring comes, and the weather becomes warmer. Therefore, it is not strange that the students stayed on the campus until late night even though they could not enjoy the beauty of the campus fully.
As I saw the students playing near the library, I scowled at first because it was noisy. On the other hand, I also thought it seemed very vigorous. Therefore, I thought that it would be good to have a memory like this once. However, some problems occurred. The biggest problem among many problems is waste disposal. As I walk the campus because of the morning class, I usually feel good if I’m not busy. However, my pleasant feeling changed to unpleasant easily because of the litter where students ate and played. Moreover, cleaners who clean the campus are old. It makes me feel sorry and sad because they make me recall my parents who have trials.
Many people have heard that “Wastes should have been thrown away in the garbage can” by their parents or teachers. We heard this saying from we were elementary students. Let’s see the present campus of CBNU. It is the answer of whether we keep this saying or not. Absolutely, there are students who don’t litter the waste. However, there is too much scattered waste on the campus.
In fact, many people throw away the waste with the thought, “One person would be OK.” I also have thrown away the waste with the same thinking. However, the situation is changed if many dozens of people have the same thought. Then, the campus will be full of the waste sooner or later. It is difficult that some people have to clean a lot of wastes. To conclude, we should not litter waste. Keeping the campus clean is not difficult. We can keep it clean through putting trash away as we eat and use.
There is a saying that “A person whose remaining traces are beautiful is really beautiful.” You might have heard it at least once. It means that the people are considered pure if their traces are clean. I think it also means that the people’s usual character and behavior is expressed through their traces.
