[Review of the Performace] Audience Creates Interests with Actors
Á¦ 104 È£    ¹ßÇàÀÏ : 2008.11.05
The story of the Marshmallow deals with an episode where a couple who is about to divorce meets a thief. Marshmallow has special characteristics. If this were a general play, the exaggerated actions would make the audience feel unwelcome. However, it gives the audience a loud laugh and a chance to concentrate on the play. Also, Marshmallow shows a satire on society as opposed to a comedy. This play shows us various features from a husband who is fired and a thief who is full of the dissatisfaction for society. Showing audiences the feature of everyday neighbors, Marshmallow expresses the actual absurdity to the audience indirectly.
First of all, the biggest characteristic of this play is that the participation of the audience is important. The actors and audiences talk directly, and they give and take jokes. Also, audiences help this play by standing on the stage. A chosen audience member stands on stage to help a thief who breaks into the house. At first, his face is confused because of standing. However, the audience talks with the actors and makes the actors confused. These unthinkable situations make Marshmallow more exciting.
Do you want to feel the attraction of a real small performance? Marshmallow, where actors and audiences make the play by working together, will make you aware of the attraction of the play.
