
Room No.13 is a comedy play which depicts the process of hiding the scandal of a secretary of an opposition leader with a ministerial lawmaker who is trying to move a dead body of an uninvited guest to their meeting to another room. Spectators, who watch the behavior of the immoral lawmaker who is sweating over his political career, feel amusement and a thrilling feeling all at once. While hiding the scandal with her, could he escape the absurd situation?
The sound of knocking doors and the ringing telephone disturb him at all times. However, new characters entering make spectators anticipate the next scene. The lawmaker¡¯s performance, in which he narrowly escapes a crisis by momentary wit and a lie, evokes bursts of laughter from the spectators.
This play develops very fast as if it reflects his urgent mentality. If spectators do not grasp the character relationships well made by his lie in the story, they will not enjoy the play fully. However, focusing intensely on the characters¡¯ every word, spectators are easily fascinated by the play¡¯s charm.
