Thrilling Lies to Hide the Truth
Á¦ 106 È£    ¹ßÇàÀÏ : 2009.03.02
It is said that easy and interesting work is better than difficult work for the people who see the play for their first time. In that point, the play ¡®Liar 1¡¯ is suitable for amateur play audiences. This play is not only humorous, but also excellent. It was authenticated by winning the prize at The National Assembly of Korea Awards in the play category for the first time.
As shown by the title, this play is a story about a liar named John Smith. The main character, John Smith, is an ordinary taxi driver, and he has two wives. John usually has lived by a strict schedule. However, he becomes involved with a trifling robbery one day. By this happening, he is in a crisis to conceal his lie. As the hero repeats the lie to hide the truth, the audience members can find fun and laughter.
The state of the play is similar to our slightly exaggerated daily lives. Most people would have experiences where they cheat each other in their relationships against their will. Similar to this, humor found from the audience¡¯s sympathy is the biggest charm in this play. In addition, after about 2 hours of performance, time to take a picture with the actors on the stage is given. It would be a good memory for the spectators who want to maintain an aftertaste of the play.
At present, ¡®Liar 2¡¯ and ¡®Liar 3¡¯ are running in Daehangno. If you already have a ¡®Liar¡¯ ticket stub, you can see another series of ¡®Liar¡¯ at a reduced fare, so it would be nice to view another work that you like at a discount.
