Have you ever experienced extreme hunger? Here is a man who cannot overcome extreme hunger and is about to choose suicide. Why does the man choose this extreme way? Is it because of hunger only?
 “Jung-ja,” who is a poet, tries to choose suicide because of hunger, but he failed due to a piece of bread given by a mysterious detective. In this process, he falls in love with a girl, “Nan-ja,” in a bakery. Furthermore, her grandmother in the bakery is carrying a torch for the detective who has a lot of secrets. These four heroes endure ups and downs, and they succeed in becoming “full of love.”
 The play “Hungry 4” shows a sweet love story as well as the importance of love. The play considers that a life without love is death. The reason that “Jung-ja” tried to commit suicide is not hunger, but absence of love. However, the love that is told in this play does not end at once. Love is needed as time passes as the eye is bigger than the belly. The reason that “Nan-ja” took drugs is hunger of love after she parted with “Jung-ja.”
