Gangpool`s cartoon "Romance Comics“ is a famous cartoon in Korea. The cartoon recorded 60 million hits on the  internet, and it was remade into a movie and a play. 
  
 The play shows two love stories. One story is a pure love story between a high school student, Soo-young, and a company staff member Yeon-woo. They live in the same apartment building. They often meet in the elevator and fall in love with each other slowly. The love story between Yeon-woo, who feels embarrassment towards women, and Soo-young, who feels drawn to his purity, is innocent and cheerful.
 
 The other story is a careful love story between Ha-kyoung and Suk. Ha-kyoung has a bad memory about love. Suk, a high school student, has a complex about his name. Ha-kyoung gradually started opening her closed mind thanks to Suk`s efforts. The love story is pure and sometimes romantic.
 
 In the play, Gyu-cheor sells ties, scarves and carp-shaped bread. These things take a role that helps the two couples and makes the play more romantic.

  The play is similar to its original work in the way that it deals with the purity of love stories. However, they have some differences. The original emphasizes the impressiveness of the love story. On the other hand, the play focuses on the  amusement of the audiences.

  The play expresses the original`s episodes well despite its limited facilities.
In the play, Multiman, who performed various roles, was an essential character. This role helps the play be more fun and energetic. If he did not exist, the play would be loose. The play provides  modern people, who put more priority on a person`s background than love itself, with the chance of thinking about love. Gue-cheor`s cry, "Love and separation are the same, just ensure it", will remain on audiences' memories for a long time.
