[News in Chungbuk] Chungju Eco Experience Center Is Born Again
Á¦ 149 È£    ¹ßÇàÀÏ : 2014.06.03

Recently, as interest about nature increases, interest in tourism is increasing. The representative Eco Experience Center is located in Chungju, and it fulfills tourist¡¯s interests as well. Also, it was opened on April 29, 2009. Since the opening, they tried hard to give a good experience to tourists, so this time they remodeled it to provide more ecology experience spaces to many tourists. However, even though it had these efforts, the original center had many problems. The original center consists of a walking trail, a roof garden and a fountain.
Due to family month, the Chungju Eco Experience Center gradually implemented environmental improvements for 2 months. First, on the ground-floor, there is a lounge where people can see the attractions by sitting on a bench. There is an outside playground for children, which provides a rest space for parents and children where they can improve closeness with each other. Also, an audio-visual education center and an exhibition room, which are located on the second floor, were remodeled. The audio-visual education center is constructed of ondol sheets, which is for convenience in cold weather. A projector screen and a 70-inch 3D-TV also provide a space for ecology education. Planning Exhibit Institution, which is also called a small zoo, installed a water tank. Fish can swim in the water tank with coral. Also, they changed the lighting equipment and completed interior work for improvement of the atmosphere.
The Eco Experience Center can receive sufficient attraction from many students. Kim In-sik, who runs the Chungju Eco Experience Center, said, ¡°We offer a graceful natural landscape for our tourists. Also, tourists show friendliness to each other. Now and forever, we will do our best in order to attract more interest from tourists.¡± In this way, they are trying hard to provide a better natural space.
