The aid ship Mavi Marmara, belonging to the Free Gaza Movement, an international human rights group, was attacked by Israeli naval forces. At least 10 passengers on the ship were killed in the attack. On may 31, the ship, destined for the Gaza Strip, was transporting ten thousand tons of relief supplies, breaking a sea blockade that Israel had imposed. On the way, there was an attack in international waters more than 150 kilometers from the Gaza Strip. | |

In this summer vacation, I went to Tokyo, Japan. Mercifully, as I was accompanied by one of my friends who can speak Japanese a little bit, I could communicate in Japanese when we asked about our destination or went shopping. However, some Japanese couldn't understand our pronunciation, so we solved the situation using English. | |

The early graduation system in CBNU has fastidious terms which do not exist in other national universities. Therefore there are few students who can take advantage of this system. | |

During the vacation season, outside visitors to our library increased. Particularly, the students from neighboring middle schools or high schools frequently occupied the seats in the Central Library. CBNU students(gaesin people) became discontent with this as it hindered their studies. On Daum's internet cafe CBNU02, students discussed installing a regulating bar at the main gate of the building. Students even made some suggestions to the President's office formally. | |

I have been working as a volunteer to help a vulnerable family. I teach a thirteen-year-old girl math and English twice a week. She is a hard-working student in spite of her difficult surroundings. | |
