Selection of Members for the Future Base Training of BK21 Plus
  The six research management teams and five business teams in Chungbuk National University(CBNU) were selected as the Future Base Training of BK21 Plus. The teams selected were supported with fifty-eight hundred million won. The support was the most in North Chungcheong Province. The selecting standard of Future Base Training of BK21 Plus was education capacity , research capacity, improvement of systems and fields of support. CBNU is trying to improve educational conditions and improve systems for  securement of ethic research.
 
The Students Staying in the Dormitory of CBNU Get Free English Classes
  The dormitory of Chungbuk National University(CBNU) carried out  English classes on September  9th. The classes were free for students staying in the dormitory of CBNU. The number of students admitted was 130 in order of their arrival. The registration closed on August  26th. The students selected took a class chosen by level. The classes proceed for 10 weeks until November 29th. However, students selected have to buy books for their level.
 
CBNU’s International Education Center(IEC) Has Opened an English Clinic
  An English Clinic has opened in English zone, which is on the second floor of the IEC building. The programs of the English Clinic consist of Clinic By One-To-One, Coffee Time Free English, Movie Day and Watching CNN News. The Clinic By One-To-One is the correction of pronunciation for conversation and resume building for getting a job. The students hoping to join the Clinic By One-To-One must reserve the times. The Clinic can hold 20 students a week. Foreign instructors from the IEC give lessons to students. The students can use English books and DVDs in the English zone and capitalize on computers and a cafe.
