There’s going to be an event called the Culture Fair 2013 on November 8th which will be held by the international students in Chungbuk National University. This event will be held in a 2nd floor seminar room in the Gaesin Cultural Center and will be supervised by the Center of International Affairs and the Confucius Institute. The 9 countries, including China, Vietnam, India, and Philippines, will introduce their countries based on a performance in the Culture Fair, which will proceed like a contest. The purpose of this event is not only to improve exchange students’ adjustment to college life or to decrease the cultural shock which could be faced while studying abroad, but also to let them understand and exchange each other’s cultures. In the award ceremony, they will give away a grand prize of one million won along with other 5 awards.
