Special Lecture for a Method of Learning: Power Point Presentation

On December 5th, the Center for Teaching and Learning will hold a special lecture as an ACE business for a method of learning for CBNU faculty students. This lecture’s contents are the methods for making an effective presentation that can be used in schools or offices. The lecturer is Jung Jin-ho, who made an appearance on the CBS TV program ‘15 Minutes Which Change the World’, and who is also the present deputy department head of SK Communications. In addition, he will give a lecture at the CBNU Law School in room 208 on December 5th at 4 p.m.

The lecture, which is by order of arrival for a maximum of 200 people, seems like an opportunity to improve the presentation abilities of the enrolled students.

A Contest for Published Scholarly Books

The CBNU Publishing Department will hold a review contest about scholarly books in 2013. Participation in this contest is open to the faculty and graduate students. This contest’s goal is the conversion of the Publishing Department’s image as well as the advertising of scholarly books through the promotion of reading and participation by the members of CBNU. The deadline for the contest is December 16th, and a pertinent book is offered for free.

The New GSA: ‘On&On’

The 46th GSA election was held at each college building on November 28th. ‘On&On’ was elected as the 46th GSA with an agreement of 55.4% and a disagreement of 41.4% from CBNU students. The reason for the subtle gap between the agreement and the disagreement was because many CBNU students thought some ‘On&On’ officers don’t have caliber as officers. In addition, it is due to the reflection of worrisome voices about a lack of innovative pledges. ‘On&On’ will replace the current GSA, ‘Response 3057’, the 45th GSA. During their term, the development of ‘On&On’ will be watched with keen interest.
