The early graduation system in CBNU has fastidious terms which do not exist in other national universities. Therefore there are few students who can take advantage of this system.

 According to the Office of Academic Affairs on web, students who correspond to these details can not graduate early. Students who are punished by disciplinary actions of article 64 of or have only one subject below C0, or only one semester's grade below 4.0, or do leave of absent after applying for the early graduation can not graduate early.

In addition, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Medicine, and Dept. of Architectural Engineering which has high credits to graduate are the exceptions for the early graduation.

Generally, students who apply for the early graduation are fifteen people in one year. In substance, students who graduate early is one or two in one year , the staff of school affairs office said. " This system is the thing not to do. ", he said. And he wanted students to understand that this school regulations made in past, so, there is a gap in now.  

Contrary to CBNU which has many restriction terms, other national universities' terms are easily accessible to the students.

Seoul National University is extremely unconventional abolished the early graduation. Just students could graduate if took all credits to graduate in 6 semesters regardless of grades.

The terms of early graduation on Chungnam National University are obtaining all credits to graduate in one's own department, passing the graduation thesis(Experiment practice report, Practical skill announcement, graduation examination), and average grades of all subjects is more than 4.0 of 4.5.

 However, this school drags students down by the fastidious terms of early graduation. For example, students can not graduate early if one subject is below C0, and one semester's grades is below 4.0. And students should not take the winter/summer Sessions after applying for the early graduation. According to the staff of Office of Academic Affairs, The reason is that the early graduation accepts only regular semesters. This point contrasts with Yonsei University and Sogang University, which include winter/summer Sessions' grades for the early graduation.

The early graduation system which has fastidious terms like one semester, and one subject looks obstinate over the purpose of school to students who study for four years(eight semesters).
