The methods of Korean language lectures are free and various by each student. The students check the homework meticulously and correct pronunciation. They teach Korean language by singing Korean songs and playing games. A Filipino teacher, who is taking the Korean language lectures, said, ¡°They teach us the basic things well. We learn the different songs and we can sing immediately.¡±
Lee Kyung-min, who teaches Korean language said, ¡°It is hard but worthwhile to teach. The most rewarding moment is when Filipino teachers said, ¡®Thank you, teacher,¡¯ in Korean after finishing the class,¡± The native teachers in the center who take the Korean language lectures are interested in Korea. They asked about Korean expressions after watching Korean dramas, and they try to pronounce them naturally.
A Filipino teacher said, ¡°Korean language lectures are easy to learn and helpful. It is useful to teach the Korean students.¡± An officer of CDU ESL Center said, ¡°Students and native teachers reacted positively with regard to the Korean language school. A Filipino teacher said, ¡°We are satisfied with this class because the Korean students do their best.¡± A general manager in the center said, ¡°The students and native teachers reacted explosively. We are planning to continue the program so that more students can participate in the class through the Korean language school.¡±
The Korean students, who started volunteer work in March, plan to teach in Cebu until June when they will come back to Korea.
