The CBNU Industry-University Cooperation Center was selected by the Small and Medium Business Administration
Starting on August 1, the Small and Medium Business Administration selected the CBNU Industry-University Cooperation Center as the leading organization in the 2011 Industry-University Collaboration for Technology Development. This cooperative work will contribute to improvement of the public image of CBNU. The Cooperation Center will be supported almost 300 million for one year.
Hynix Semiconductors granted scholarships to the students.
On June 16, Gwon Oh-cheol, who is the CEO of Hynix Semiconductors, awarded scholarships to the students. The students who participated in the Hynix Semiconductor's internship program will get monthly scholarships and better opportunities when they apply for that company after graduation.
The Overseas Corps volunteered in Jeongamchon located in China.
The 7th Member of the Overseas Corps, headed by Professor Kim Youn-min, volunteered in Jeongamchon located in China, Which is known as Chungbuk Village, for 15 days from July 22 to August 5. The members divided the Korean-Chinese students in an elementary school into the fields of science, mathematics, English and recreation, and they enthusiastically taught them based on the teams' characteristics. They also cleaned up the village and repaired the village people's houses.
