Some places in CBNU have been used as backgrounds for movies and dramas. These facts are widely known and were reported in the media on Aug. 5th. Almost all students had a positive response.
At the end of July, Solmot was used as a background for the drama named ¡®What¡¯s the ghost doing?¡¯ on KBS 2TV. In the drama, actors talked while looking for their friend. Solmot looked like a nice and peaceful place with green trees in the drama. However, some visitors who watched the filming had negative responses. Lee Jong-hoon(3rd grade in Cheongju High School) said, ¡°The lawn of Solmot isn¡¯t mown, and also Solmot looked polluted, similar with the red tide phenomenon. An Mi-ok(Bokdae-dong, Seowon-gu) also said, ¡°I saw Solmot on TV. It looks different from the scene in realities¡±.
There was another place where people had negative responses. In the dramas named ¡®Bread, Love and Dreams¡¯ in 2010 and ¡®Lady Vengeance¡¯ in 2005, they were shot at the Second Student Union. Kim Sun-il(2011 graduation, Dept. of Civil Engineering) said, ¡°I was surprised as the Second Student Union was used as a background because it was inconvenient to access the building and enter the club rooms.
Last year, ¡®The Running Man¡¯ was shot on SBS in a large school field with 30 students. Many students watched that at that time. Park Jae-min(¡¯11, Dept. of Astronomical Space) said, ¡°Most of my friends were extremely excited as they were able to see the superstars from ¡®The Running Man¡¯, so they really didn¡¯t want to take class. Shooting on campus ruins classes.¡±
On the other hand, a person concerned with a publicity department said, ¡°Shooting on campus gives us the promotional effect, so it is positive for schools. Also, it is helpful to strengthen the competitiveness of the school.¡±
Some places in schools are used as the backgrounds for the dramas and the movies. It might cause negative effects. If we try to improve it, we will be able to enjoy positive effects.
