Cheongju gave a big feast for Cheongju Eupseong, which surrounds a government office and a private house of Cheongju, commemorating the 421st anniversary of retaking Cheongju Seong, which is a castle of Cheongju, and Cheongju got a facelift at Sangdang Park. The Sandang Park is famous for its naturally beautiful view and being a historical symbol, but people seldom go there because of its old facilities. Cheongju went to the expense of repairing old amenities and paths at Sangdang Park and made a garden with rocks and wild flowers. City office finished this reconstruction at the end of July, and it is expected that many people will visit the Sangdang Park again.
