The new semester started 2 months ago. Several student councils got settled and showed many programs to students. The alliance store program is an easy and convenient program for students. The size of the 2016 Companion Animal Festival is growing. This festival turns twenty-four this year, and it is the only event related to companion animals in the Chung-buk region. There are many drinking occasions you must participate in when you become a university student. Many students encounter such drinking situations through various events such as an OT, a lecture-starting party, a reception for welcoming freshmen, and a field trip. Almost every CBNU student must take some specific English liberal arts during their semesters. However, many students don’t know about why they have to take the subjects and what institute makes the subjects. Some students just take the classes because the subjects are on the curriculum. | |

CBNU’s Department of Nursing had permission of establishment in 2011 when the first freshmen entered the Department of Nursing. The students had difficulties such as a lack of classrooms, absence of seniors and no information about the major. In spite of these difficulties, the students ended up graduating from CBNU. | |

As a result of the vote, the election team named Know How was elected as the CBNU General Student Union in 2014. For the first time ever, before being elected, they promised that if students aren’t satisfied with their activities, they will return the student fees. They also held a different CBNU festival that was fresh and new, so they received a good response from the students. | |

During CBNU election campaigns, we could frequently see candidates electioneering in our university in November. As almost every election has rules, there also exist some bylaws in the CBNU election. The mentoring program was introduced to our school in 2011. Recently, there has been a no smoking boom in South Korea. The cigarette prices went up by 2,000 won early this year. The no smoking areas have also been extended. Prohibiting smoking in internet cafes and restaurants is mandatory. This boom influenced clinics for quitting smoking to be crowded.
